Meet Jessica Kapoor, Patient Care Coordinator

What is your role in the office?

Having always been one with strong attention to detail and intuitiveness to

patient needs, my position as patient care coordinator suits me well. I am

given the opportunity to make sure that many aspects of the patient’s needs

are met while the team and I provide care and compassion. I have the

pleasure of personally overseeing MRI and CT authorizations, medical

records, scheduling and assisting patients with many of their requests and

needs.

What are the most rewarding aspects of your job?

Without a doubt the most rewarding aspect of my job is being part of the

team here that provides orthopedic care and enables mobility for our patients.

Seeing a patient become mobile, or have their pain decreased gives me the

greatest feeling knowing that I played a role in their care. In addition to this, I

truly enjoy my interactions with the patients here, the best part of my job is

seeing the satisfaction and growth as they progress through our care.

What do you like to do when you’re not in the office?

I am originally from Canada, and often will visit my mum and brother’s

family in Kingsville about a half an hour south of Windsor. I have two nieces

that I adore. The loves of my life are my husband and 2 dogs (boxer and an

old English bulldog). I enjoy spending time with my husband, whether it be

relaxing at home or going to a Lion’s football game. In my spare time I also

enjoy refinishing children’s furniture. It is a hobby that I picked up a few

years ago that expresses my creative side. Generally, the time that I spend

with my family is all that I could ask for.
