Study Looks at Benefits of Knee Replacement Over Therapy Alone

The New York Times recently featured an article about a study that compared knee replacement to physical therapy and other non-surgical treatments. 

 

The study followed patients for a year and reported their outcomes.  According to the article, the study concluded that “Knee replacement surgery relieves pain and improves function in patients with severe osteoarthritis much more effectively than nonsurgical therapy alone.” Read the entire article here New York Times
